How to Raise your Kickstarter/Indiegogo-Type Funds!

Idea Great Fundraising Idea

We are asking all participating art teachers to consider raising $100 in Kickstarter/Indiegogo-type funds from themselves, fellow teachers and their school.

The goal is for art teachers to receive the $100 back and receive an additional $100 for another art project you are working on. You would receive your money back plus $100 profit!

1) Each person who contributes $7 – $10 will receive an 11 x 17 calendar poster (see example) of 12 of the top winners of the World’s Largest Display of Environmental Art and Guinness World Record Art Competition.

2) The poster will be a beautiful recorded history of something wonderful that you and your students helped to create! Your school logo and indication of your participation in the Earth Day Art Event will be on the poster.

3) 20 Posters (for sale at $7 each) will raise $100 (after deducting $2 for poster printing). We will license 25 posters for you to print on 11 x 17 cardstock at your local Fed Ex Kinko, Office Depot or other copy center. You can keep the extra $25 generated.

4) The teacher or students can sell the posters to family, friends, classmates and local businesses to receive their money back.

5) Or the poster can be contributed and displayed in the teacher’s classroom (or another classroom) with the word’s donated by (name of teacher) written on the poster.

6) Students who sell posters to family, friends and classmates and local businesses will receive a Champion Certificate. Their name and photo, and photo of the person they sold the poster to, can go on your website.

7) You will receive a license to sell 25 additional posters to raise funds for any art project you are working on.
