Guinness World Record Art Event

The official Guinness World Record Attempt was at Ogden International School Gymnasium,  24 W Walton, Chicago.  Ogden is considered to be the greenest Chicago School (LEED Gold).

The event was on Saturday, May 18 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

B) Appx 85 Schools (and Art Studios) participated in the event on May 18.
A total of 12,679 Artworks were recorded. The Guinness World Record is 10,000 works of art. Yay!

Info about the Event Coordinators

The National Environmental Hall of Fame® has presented awards to Harrison Ford, Pierce Brosnan, Art Linkletter and Ed Begley, Jr.

Environmental awards have also been presented to over 30 Cities and Mayors, including Chicago, Evanston, Naperville, Aurora, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, San Francisco, San Jose, Austin, and Denver.

 Because of  our wonderful location next to the Red Line, we suggest participants choose public transportation or car pool if possible. Coordinators are encouraged to bring their artwork in Art Portfolio carrying cases to make it easier for transportation and judging.
